Your phone already watched that set.
SetBuddy tells you what it saw.
Prop the camera by the rack and run your bench, squat, or deadlift. The app reads your joints frame by frame, scores the lift, and names the breakdowns a good spotter would catch — bar drifting off line, elbows flaring, depth you thought you hit.
Set the phone down
Lean it against a water bottle from the side, the way you already film your own clips. One working set is enough to get a read.

SetBuddy tracks your body through every frame and follows the bar from unrack to lockout — all on your device, nothing uploaded to a server.
— on-device, nothing uploadedIt names the fault
Every issue comes back ranked critical, moderate, or minor, with a coach's cue to fix it and a clip of the exact rep it's talking about.
— ranked, not just scoredEight metrics. Five flagged. One number.
Every issue gets flagged on both plans — if something's off, you'll see it called out, free or not. On Free, the 1–100 score breaks down the unsafe, injury-risk faults; Premium scores every issue and turns on the bar-path and joint-angle overlays.
It tells you the fault, not a vibe.
Most apps hand you a number and call it coaching. SetBuddy says the bar drifted forward out of the hole, or your elbows dropped on the press — the same calls a coach standing to your side would make, in the same words, tied to the rep it happened on.

Workouts for your gear
Tell it what's in your gym — full rack or a pair of dumbbells — and it builds around that.
Every issue gets flagged on both plans. If something's off in your form, you'll see it called out — free or not, nothing is hidden from you. The difference is the 1–100 score: on Free it breaks down only the unsafe, injury-risk issues; Premium scores every flagged issue, and adds the bar-path and joint-angle overlays, rep-by-rep playback, and higher upload limits.
it's early.
SetBuddy is in open beta. A small team in Portland is still building it, the model still misses things on bad camera angles, and it's free on Google Play for exactly that reason. We'd rather you try it now and tell us where it's wrong than wait two years for a polished version that only guessed at what lifters need.
File a bug and it lands in front of the people writing the code — not a support queue.
Film your next set. See what it sees.
Free while it's in beta. Bring your worst-angle deadlift video — that's the one we want to get right.
